I just love being a member of the Red Hat Society!
It's an international organisation for women over 50. We get together for social gatherings, dressed in our purple outfits and red hats.
We make quite a picture when out in public, often drawing admiring - sometimes quizzical - stares and comments.
We have no committee, raise no funds nor do community work. We simply get together and have fun.
Ladies "of a certain age" certainly know how to do that.
From Robyn - Born in the Fifites.
If you would like to know a little more about the Red Hat Society I am including this link www.matildarose2.com/ to a website with lots more information and where you can also contact them to see if there is a group in your area.
