I enjoy doing surveys online and have got a few vouchers from them which is always a bonus.  I do have two email accounts my yahoo is for the survey websites so all related junk will only go to that one and my hotmail is for personal, family email.

In answer to Cathy Anning: doesn't completing online surveys etc open your email account up to a whole lot of spam? I avoid them like the plague for that reason - unless, of course, you set up a dummy email addy specifically for that purpose.

To Robyn:  I'm fed up with eBay's listing fees, particularly when you're disposing of small value items and they don't sell. A better site is Gumtree, which is FREE!

Hi I have worked all my life till June 2009 I am now unable to do your normal run of the mill job but I do mystery shopping. It took a couple of goes to get it right but I think I have now. It pays anything from $5 to $60 depending on the job so if anyone is interested in this it doesn't hurt to give it a go.

I recently had a couple of books that I had read and no longer wanted as well as a couple of DVD's.  I put them all on Ebay and got a little money for stuff that was no longer wanted.  Anyone else tried Ebay to get rid of a bit of clutter and earn a few extra dollars?

A while ago we had to help Jeff's parents downsize as they were moving into a smaller place to live so we had a garage sale.  It was a great way to get rid of some excess furniture, a little bit of clutter and gave them some extra money to spend.  It is amazing what people will buy at a garage sale and if you are prepared for an early start can earn you a little extra cash.
